EV Home Charging
Charging at home requires nothing more than plugging your EV's electric vehicle supply equipment (its charging cable) into a standard 3-pin, 120-volt outlet. "Level 1 Charging", requires no special equipment and provides a slower charging cycle compared to dedicated EV charging equipment. How Do You Charge An EV?
To charge your EV, simply plug it in at your house with your EV's charging cable or locate a public charging station. EVs use different types of charge ports for charging, but Nissan vehicles are equipped with either a CHAdeMO (Nissan LEAF) or a Combined Charging System (CCS) (Nissan ARIYA) charge port for charging.1,2,3
